HANDS

Another day, another sad news story.   I am thinking about the love we don't show each other, and the love we do show each other.   We are all God's children.   God's hands.

INSIDE MATTERS

Wasn't a fan of the tummy talk, following Super Bowl.  You remember?  The Super Bowl Halftime Show?  Turned out Lady Gaga's tummy is real and even bounces when she sings and dances?  ...Paleeze!  Yes, lady bodies' jiggle and tighten and change and shrink and grow.  All of the above.  Duh.  Let's look a little deeper, shall we?  Good'on'ya Gaga for not taking any guff on this one.    story

Principle in the type:   "She was beautiful, but not like those girls in the magazines.  She was beautiful, for the way she thought.  She was beautiful, for that sparkle in her eyes when she talked about something she loved.  She was beautiful, for her ability to make people smile even when she was sad.  No, she wasn't beautiful for something as temporary as her looks.  She was beautiful, deep down in her soul."      F. Scott Fitzgerald

PRETTY HAPPY

Ladies.  It's what's inside that matters?  Where does one find happiness?  What's the secret to not obsessing with beauty?  Boy those are tough ones.  Queen B explores:

SCHUMER STYLE

Amy Schumer's The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo, continues to be a best seller.   Excerpt:   "Why not be real?  One of the first times I was paparazzied, they caught me paddle boarding in Hawaii.  I didn't even recognize myself.  I saw the shots and thought, 'Oh, cool, Alfred Hitchcock is alive and loves water sports.'  But nope, it was me.  I proudly posted the picture on Instagram right away, because I thought it was hilarious."    That there's #girlpower.

TO THE NINES

I love me a good gander at award's show dresses!   Just the creations they are, whether they work or not, the colors, the talent involved.   I don't know, maybe it's the model in me (insert laughing til it cries emoji)!   (Actress Tatiana Maslany, is pictured above.)    Look through some Emmy pics from Sunday here and find your favorites.  I have mine!
