WINNING

photo by Disney / ABC Television Group

About the Oscars, I made a couple correct predictions.  (I know stuff.)
Other than that?  I'm kind of on board with the Kevin Hart "Let's not let this negative issue of diversity beat us," speech.  Go ahead.  Be whatever color you are, do your best, share your talents, help society, and keep your head up.  Everybody hang in there.  We got this.        news

Principle in the type:  "There must be purpose. We are here to accomplish something, to bless society with our talents and our learning. There can be fun, yes. But there must be recognition of the fact that life is serious, that the risks are great, but that you can overcome them if you will discipline yourselves . . ."      Gordon B Hinckley

ONE GIANT LEAP FOR MEN

(Oscars, Oscars, Oscars - and - Leap.)

My head is spinning.  I had no idea so much math and history went into this Leap Year stuff.  It includes Julius Caesar, Greek astronomers, the Roman Republic, B.C. and A.C., the 'solar year,' Popes, a Gregorian calendar, and long division.  I'll finish with this tidbit of science:  Superman was born in a Leap Year, Feb. 29th.   Super men, are hard to come by.

Principle in the type:  "May you grow up to be righteous/May you grow up to be true/May you always know the truth/And see the lights surround you/May you always be courageous/Stand upright and be strong/. . . "      Bob Dylan
