DROP IT LIKE IT'S HOT

Note to self:  Remind my kids not to light each other on fire to make a cool YouTube video.  Luckily avoiding injury, in Pennsylvania two 13-year-old boys decided to do just that.  "One agreed to be set on fire so the other could film it and post it online."  A blowtorch was involved, the fire proved tricky to put out, and they didn't even get to download a boss clip.   news

Principle in the type:  "Ponder how you spend your time and ask yourself regularly, ‘why?’  This will help you develop the ability to see beyond the moment.  It’s far better to look ahead and ask yourself, ‘why would I do that?’ than to look back and say, ‘why, oh, why did I do that?’ "      Randall L. CYBER NOT-BULLYING

There are some wonderful programs out there.  Especially that involve one of us looking out for another of us.    Enter, feel good moment, stage right.

GROWING UP IN THE CLUB

The Breakfast Club is 30.  Which makes me, um, older than 30.  Ally Sheedy, who played goth-type teen Allison in the movIe (did they have goth yet in the 80's?) told People magazine, "the movie has this message that in spite of peoples differences, there is something unifying in the experience of growing up and trying to find yourself."    news story
