HOT DOG!

Continuing on the stuffing one's face theme, --that hot dog affair spoken of in yesterday's post.   Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest, of course!   Held each July 4th, on Coney Island.    This year conquered "by the greatest eater in the history of mankind."  (A title I answer to as well, truth be told.)   Joey Chestnut reinstated himself as king - by eating 70 hot dogs!   news

USA USA USA

Principle in the type:  "What's great about this country is that America started the tradition where the richest consumers buy essentially the same things as the poorest.  You can be watching TV and see Coca-Cola, and you can know that the President drinks Coke.  Liz Taylor drinks Coke, and just think, you can drink Coke, too."    Andy Warhol
