I listened to this Ray Charles version during our fireworks display last July 4th.  It hit my sweet spot.  Enjoy.  And Happy Labor Day Weekend, you Americans you!!

TASTY LABOR

photo by Biblioteca General Antonio Machado (Fondo Antiguo y ...)

Happy Labor Day.  Created as a public holiday honoring the American labor movement, and well, the American worker - here's to the occasional day off from our labors - and a Labor Day "Better Burger" to go with it.  Bursting with a soft looking panini bread bun, "caramelized onions and a bright-tasting tomato jam."  story

Principle in the type:  "In the labors of each day [pioneers] discovered and solidified an inner strength and profound spiritual depth. They learned that doing hard things--even applying themselves to the tasks they really did not want to do--deepened and strengthened body, mind, and spirit."      Dieter F Uchtdorf

FALL INTO FASHION

Bathing suits are out (after this Monday's Labor Day) and Fall fashion is here.    What better way to dive in than lots of little details in a one-on-one with Vogue's editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour?
