MOTHER'S DAY GIFT, NOT

Remember this post?    Well, leaving your little one with a car as the babysitter, lives on.   This time Poppa, a personal trainer, needed to "met with a client" at 24-hour Fitness.   His crying 8-month-old remained in an unlocked, engine running, parked car for about an hour before the police came.   Nice one, Poppa.   Not.    news

LINCOLNISMS

It has been 150 years since Abraham Lincoln's death.  We remember him, honor him, and still learn from his character and leadership.  In school, "students respond to the president being the 'quintessential American self-made man' and for his 'work holding the country accountable' to its stated ideals . . . (news story)"      Well done, Mr. President.
