THE HUMANITY OF IT

The long awaited opening of the National Museum of African American History and Culture, happened in September.   It is a beautiful building, and likely the last of anything that will be built on the National Mall in Washington.  In a Smithsonian interview, Architect David Adjaye said the "primary spirit behind" his plan was one of "praise."  He envisioned it as "a human posture.  It's the idea that you come from the ground up ... the form of the building suggests a very upward mobility."     story

~~~Happy Anniversary to The Principled Type~~~  ( ... sung singing'ly to the music of Happy Birthday).
It's been a whole year since the start of the TPT blog!   It went by fast.  Sort of.  Kinda of.  I hope you--like I--have weaned a word or two of wisdom from others quoted here.  Or comfort.   Or smiled.    If you read some posts last year, shoot me a shout-out in the comments or email.  It's all good.
Onward and upward.
Principle in the type:  "My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.      Maya Angelou
