THIS MOMENT

I'm happy at the moment!  Yippee!  Hey the lead in this video reminds me of myself the occasional morning.  Can ya feel me?  Good stuff.  Thanks, Georgie-boy.

Principle in the type:  "It is one of the great ironies of our age that we are blessed with so much and yet we can be so unhappy.  The wonders of prosperity and technology overwhelm us and  shower us with security, entertainment, instant gratification, and convenience.  And yet all around us we see so much unhappiness. . . . Happiness doesn't come as a result of luck or accident.  It most certainly doesn't come from having all our our wishes come true.  Happiness doesn't come from external circumstances.  It comes from the inside---regardless of what is happening around us. A BETTER PLACE

In honor of life's comings and goings.

Principle in the type:  "If we looked at mortality as the whole of existence, then pain, sorrow, failure, and short life would be calamity. But if we look upon life as an eternal thing stretching far into the premortal past and on into the eternal post-death future, then all happenings may be put in proper perspective."    Spencer W. Kimball

GEORGIE LOVE

Wham, and George Michael's music were straight up Pop magic.    Wake Me Up equals 80s personified.  This is for real how we looked and how we danced, all night in da'club.

George Michael once said, "I'm surprised that I've survived my own dysfunction, really."   Kind of fascinating because, who can't relate?   article

KEEP YOUR EYE ON THE PRIZE

Last week Ohio State coach, Urban Meyer's shared how he can't shake the pain of loses.  Game loses.  Like, they actually never leave his mind, body or soul.  "You always remember those games more than the wins."  Sadly for Meyer's psychic, Saturday Clemson pounded No. 2 Ohio State at the Fiesta Bowl, with an unexpected 31-0 win.     story

HELLO KISSES

photo by Prayitno / Thank you for (11 millions +) views

The woman in the iconic V-J Day Times Square celebratory kiss with a sailor, Greta Zimmer Friedman passed away in September at the age of 92.  "As the perfect strangers locked lips, world famous photographer Alfred Eisenstaedt snapped four pictures in just 10 seconds."   I suppose when a World War ends, you tend to want to kiss someone!     news
