I get the Mary Tyler Moore love.  And The Mary Tyler Moore Show, man, had legs, inspiring many a generation of women.  The theme song will always make me happy.  (Is it melancholy?  Hope?  Girlpower appreciation?)  Thank you Mary for showing what lovely, smart, committed and capable can do.  RIP Mary Tyler Moore.      news

Babies aren't always bringing up the rear.  Sometimes they are in the lead!  Wowing "top brass in two recent interviews," Sean McVay at just 30 years of age was hired as head coach by the Los Angeles Rams, "making him the youngest head coach in N.F.L. history."      story

7-Eleven announced its going to sell breakfast pizza.  "A biscuit crust topped with bacon, sausage, ham, scrambled eggs, cheese and cream gravy."  I have to draw the line somewhere, and I draw it here: At a 7-Eleven convenience breakfast quazi pizza under heat lamps.  But you be you.     news

How beautiful is it we are in a country where the transfer of power is directed so seamlessly?  Really.  (There are nations that aren't so good at it!)  Everybody relax.  Hope for the best.  Be your best where you are.  Friends and neighbors do not all vote alike.  That's okay.  Pretty stoked we aren't zombie-think-and-lookalikes.  Do your thing, and do it thoughtfully and with character.  Be the good.
This weekend's video has nothing to do with Republicans and Democrats.  Just take-you-away beauty.  You're welcome:

Why did Presidential Inaugurations move from March 4th to January 20th, you ask?  It's a lame reason.  No, really.  Lame.  In 1933 Congress passed the 20th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, nicknamed, the "Lame Duck Amendment."  It was "crafted to cut down the time 'lame duck' lawmakers," those that lost re-election, "held office following Election Day."    story

Your career will never marry you."    Amy Poehler

When you are George Lucas you make a special place to hold all your fancies!  For his "$1 billion museum to house an extensive personal collection of paintings, illustrations, and movie memorabilia, Los Angeles has been chosen as the location."  Hey, I get it.  "It belongs in a museum!"  (#indiequotes)    news
