TEA'GATE

Did you know Adele's in trouble (well, British trouble) for making her tea wrong?  Poor lass.  In her latest music video Hello, it "clearly shows Adele pouring the water into the cup and putting the teabag in second like some kind of monster."   story             I mean, I think she did fine but then again, I don't make the tea rules.  Anywho, personally I'm more obsessed with her gorge eyeliner.  If you care to see both the tea and eyes for yourself, the video's below.

SUCH A DEAL

Not sure how much Black Friday'ing you did.   But know "some of those Black Friday "deals" are not deals at all.   In fact, you could end up spending more for an item."   A WalletHub report "has some hard and fast figures to back that up."     . . . Oh heck, you guys know this.   Keep your eye on the ball.    news

FAST FOOD SLOW

In a gentle crawl that started in Downey, California, the original Taco Bell taco stand was craned and moved to "corporate headquarters in Irvine . . . saving it from the wrecking ball."  Katie Rispoli from conservation group We Are The Next said, "By saving and conserving structures . . . we hope to set a precedent and demonstrate the great power that can come from unexpected histories in seemingly ordinary places."   story

GOOD MAKEUP

Paralyzed as a teen following a car crash, England native Jordan Bone found herself depressed, "which wasn't like me."  She was determined to turn that around, and found motivation in meditation videos on YouTube.  Bone is "paying it forward" with "her own motivational blog" and videos.  "My videos are about makeup, but they're also about positivity."     story

Major retailer REI is taking a day off.  Black Friday to be specific.  Call it good PR or sincere sentiment, but they profess you find better things to do then consumerism on the holiday weekend.   "In an unprecedented move for the modern-day holiday shopping season, REI's 143 stores will be closed the day after Thanksgiving. The co-op business plans to launch a campaign . . . encouraging people to forgo shopping to spend time outside instead."      news

PLANETARY INSIGHTS

Finding a new "Earth-size planet on our galactic block," is exciting stuff (in case you didn't know).  Astrophysicists revealed "the newfound world" recently.  "Planet GJ1132b is just 39 light-years away, within the atmospheric study range of the Hubble Space Telescope."  Says University of Maryland's Drake Deming, it is " 'arguably the most important planet ever found outside the solar system.'  "        news

Principle in the type:  "Scientists were struggling to understand the breadth of the universe until instruments became sophisticated enough to gather in greater light so they could understand a more complete truth. [Scriptures teach] a parallel principle regarding spiritual knowledge. “The natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God,” [in Corinthians] “for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.". . .  In other words, if you want to recognize spiritual truth, you have to use the right instruments. You can’t come to an understanding of spiritual truth with instruments that are unable to detect it."               Dieter F. Uchtdorf

JE L'ENTENDS PLEURER

As France's pain is felt around the world,  President Francois "Hollande imposed a state of emergency, after the worst peacetime attack in France since World War Two. It is also the deadliest in Europe since the 2004 Madrid bombings. . . . The violence began soon after 21:00 (20:00 GMT) as people were enjoying a Friday night out in the French capital. . . . A gunman opened fire . . . 'It was endless' . . . "     news
