Not sure how much Black Friday'ing you did.   But know "some of those Black Friday "deals" are not deals at all.   In fact, you could end up spending more for an item."   A WalletHub report "has some hard and fast figures to back that up."     . . . DON'T SHOP TIL YOU DROP?

Major retailer REI is taking a day off.  Black Friday to be specific.  Call it good PR or sincere sentiment, but they profess you find better things to do then consumerism on the holiday weekend.   "In an unprecedented move for the modern-day holiday shopping season, REI's 143 stores will be closed the day after Thanksgiving. The co-op business plans to launch a campaign . . . encouraging people to forgo shopping to spend time outside instead."      news
