There are agencies that help special needs adults train and find solutions for independent living, travel, and work.   Destry Walker is one of those success stories.  He has worked at the same place for 20 years, and that means everything to him.  "I love my job," the 50-year old man said . . . "It's like a second home." (news story)         Good work is empowering and will always add to a person's sense of security and self-worth.

Principle in the type:  "Work is honorable.  It is good therapy for most problems.  It is the antidote for worry.  It is the equalizer for deficiency of native endowment.  Work makes it possible for the average to approach genius.  What we may lack in aptitude, we can make up for in performance."     J.
