WINNING AT LOVE

There is such a thing as stamp news, and it's usually rather benign!   As was the recently released USPS sky-blue stamp, featuring "an illustration of a plane skywriting the word love.”   Awww, all the heart eyes.   If only love stamps had the power to solve the world's problems?     story

KEY POINTS

Holy moly.   Am I right, or am I right?

Just a quick game of 'New-President-Trivia' today.   (Yup, gotta keep it light.  I can hardly deal, as is.)
Question:  When does the new president get to move in?  It's January 20.  "Seems like a bit of a wait, but up until 1937 presidents weren't usually sworn in until March because it took so long to count and report the results."  story

Anyways, I'm still routing for you, America.  Love you lots.

NIXATOPIA

First opened 26 years ago, the Richard Nixon Presidential Library "was dismissed by many historians as more of a whitewash than a faithful retelling," of the Nixon presidency years.  Recently redesigned, reworked, and reopened, the Library has been lauded now as a far better and more honest representation of the Nixon story.  (Oh, silly Watergate.   It was a simpler time in Presidential warfare.  You should see us now!)     news

DONKEYS AND ELEPHANTS

You say potato, and I say potahto. Politically.  And in some ways--and only sometimes--that makes for some humor.

Oh dear, sweet, politics.  How you torture us.
Here's to a simpler day:
