TOMORROW, TOMORROW, I LOVE YA, TOMORROW

A reviewer wrote that in Disney's sci-fi mystery-adventure Tomorrowland, the "future is so bright you need sunglasses."  story link    I haven't seen the movie but heck, yippee for hope!  Hollywood usually depicts the future in a heartless, depressing, and robotic state.  I like "so bright you need sunglasses," better.

Principle in the type:  "Because that's what we storytellers do.  We restore order, with imagination.  We instill hope again, and again, and again."  Tom Hanks, as Walt Disney in Saving Mr. Banks.

  1. I know what you mean.. Lot's of movies show the future engulfed in doom. Who wants that? I like the bright future more.
