PLUTO'NESS

Pluto is ready for it's closeup.  After a 9 1/2 year and 3 billion miles travel, NASA's New Horizons spacecraft is snapping pictures.  Like, close up pictures!   ". . . project scientist Hal Weaver said.  'It's just blowing my mind.' "   news link

  1. My kids must have heard this news somewhere because for a few days all they could talk about was Pluto. "Where's Pluto?" "Is Pluto not a planet?" "Why isn't it a planet anymore?" "Well, why did they used to think it WAS a planet?" The answer to all of these questions is, "I don't know," by the way.
