I'm back!  Generally the day after vacation consists of a massive amount of laundry, and a desire to lose five (gloriously earned) pounds.  And this Day-After-Vacation was no different.   Luckily Nike's new ad campaign got me headed right to Zumba class.  Does it inspire you too?

WILD ONES

William and Kate went on safari last week in India.  They "headed out in a jeep Wednesday morning" to among other things see "rhinos, elephants and more."   Just for a bit.  The civilized, into the wilds.    news

Principle in the type:  "You can tell someone you love them first.  You can try to speak only the truth for a whole week.  You can jump out of an airplane or spend Christmas Day all by your lonesome.  You can help people who need help and fight real bad guys.  You can dance fast or take an improv class or do one of those Ironman things….  Adventure and danger can be good for your heart and soul.”          Amy Poehler

SAINT TERESA

Mother Teresa whose life was dedicated to helping the poor in the slums of India, is on the road to be a saint.  "She will likely be canonized in September to coincide with the 19th anniversary of her death. . . .  She was beatified in 2003 as Blessed Teresa of Calcutta," but it takes two miracles to become a saint.  Record of those exist in the form of her healing the sick.  And don't forget the Nobel Peace Prize she was awarded in 1979.       news
