Sunday was International Women's Day but I didn't get the memo, and these are my peeps!  Of course immediately upon recognizing the day comes the arguments about whether we should be discussing feminism, burkas, the industrial age, stay-at-home moms, or third world countries.   news story

Ultimately I like this parting thought, "so make a difference, think globally and act locally!! Make everyday International Women's Day. Do your bit to ensure that the future for girls is bright, equal, safe and rewarding."   news story

Principle in the type:  "From age immemorial, societies have relied on the moral force of women. While certainly not the only positive influence at work in society, the moral foundation provided by women has proved uniquely beneficial to the common good."        D. Todd Christofferson
