Ringo Starr sold a lot of cool stuff, many of the proceeds going to his and his wife Barbara Bach's Lotus Foundation, "which funds and promotes charitable projects." Charity never fails! The Ludwig Oyster Black Pearl three-piece drum kit used in the beginning peak of the Beatles fame, sold "for a record $2.2 million at Julien's Auctions" during the three-day sale December 3rd through the 5th. (I think this is the drum kit seen in this post.)
Principle in the type: "... find ways to lead people to a faith that they can replace their natural self-interest with deep and lasting feelings of charity and benevolence. Henry B. Erying
